Gut Rebuild for Dogs is a synbiotic microbiome therapeutic featuring Peptacetobacter hiranonis AB500, a keystone bacterial species essential to canine gut health. Small (Size 4)

  • < 10 lbs: 1 capsule/day
  • 11–20 lbs: 2 capsules/day

Medium (Size 2)

  • 21–40 lbs: 2 capsules/day

Large (Size 0)

  • 41–60 lbs: 2 capsules/day
  • 61–80 lbs: 3 capsules/day
  • 81+ lbs: 4 capsules/day

  • Sensitive patients may start with one capsule per day and slowly transition up to the recommended daily amount of capsules per day. 
  • Capsules can be opened and powder added to food.
  • Daily capsules may be administered in a single dose or divided throughout the day.
  • For optimal therapeutic effect, continuous daily administration of Gut Rebuild is recommended for a minimum of 30 days.
  • Cold storage is recommended in humid climates.

Native P. hiranonis populations are highly sensitive to antibiotics (notably metronidazole) and decline with age. Targeted supplementation helps restore and maintain normal bile acid metabolism and microbial balance. Sustained administration has been clinically proven to be associated with increased P. hiranonis abundance, enhanced bile acid conversion efficiency, and improved stool quality in dogs.
