STEP ONE: The process starts with administering a AnimalBiome Veterinary Gut Microbiome Health Test in clinic. Two small pea-sized samples of feces are extracted using a fecal loop and sent in via FedEx to our Oakland, California labs for analysis. Test results typically come back in 10-15 days.

STEP TWO: While awaiting results of the Gut Microbiome Health Test, you can provide relief of symptoms with NEW AnimalBiome Relief Kits. Our Relief Kits are a microbiome-friendly solution for GI and Skin issues and can be used as an alternative to metronidazole or other traditional GI or dermatological treatments that address the symptoms, but may not treat the underlying condition (which can be determined by a gut microbiome health test). Each kit comes with a 15-day supply of supplements to provide pets with relief while your clients wait for the results of a gut microbiome health test.

STEP THREE: Use the results of your patient's Gut Microbiome Health Test report to create a personalized plan for the pet. This plan typically includes the use of AnimalBiome Veterinary supplements and dietary changes.
